Throughout Dr. Tammy Schuler’s more than 25 years in practice in southern New Jersey, she has become known for evaluating patient needs by listening before recommending the best treatment to achieve optimal results and outstanding patient care. She is trained in both medical and primary eye care and, just like the other doctors in our office, she displays a strong emphasis on patient education so they can better understand their ocular health.
Highlights if Dr. Schuler’s resume include:
- One of the many happy post-LASIK patients and she uses this experience to assist her patients.
- Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University)
- Interned at Einstein Hospital Department of Ophthalmology where she earned honors for her study of “Ophthalmic Manifestations of Alcoholism”.
In her spare time Dr.Schuler loves hanging out with her family and dogs. She is an avid animal lover with her newest venture being some backyard chickens. She loves to garden and enjoys the outdoors. She’s been married for more than 30 years and is a proud mom to three children.
Dr. Schuler sees patients Monday through Thursday and occasional Saturdays.
